A long-dormant city landmark is set for revival with the transformation of 75 King William Street into a boutique inner-city hotel. Designed by Loucas Zahos Architects, the project breathes new life into the former Adelaide Metro office, repurposing the seven-storey structure with an additional five levels. The refined design strips back the excess of past proposals, instead focusing on a considered and elegant approach — offering 129 thoughtfully designed hotel suites, a basement restaurant, and activated retail space at street level. Once a site left to the elements, 75KWS will re-emerge as a vibrant destination, contributing to the evolving narrative of Adelaide’s urban landscape.
